We’re excited to share more about the bus we’re working toward: a used Toyota Coaster—a vehicle that’s practically made for the Valley Queens.

Sized Just Right

With seating for up to 30 passengers, the Coaster can comfortably carry our entire 28-player squad, plus coaches and gear. No more cramming into unsafe pickups or scrambling for rentals on match day.

Built for Zambia

The Coaster is known for its rugged durability and reliability, making it ideal for the rural roads around Mfuwe. Its 4.2L diesel engine is built to last, and its manual transmission is well-suited for the terrain .

Easy to Maintain

Because the Coaster is so widely used across Africa, parts are easy to find, and local mechanics are already familiar with it. That means less downtime and lower maintenance costs over the long term .

A Smart, Sustainable Choice

We’re not just buying a bus—we’re investing in a tool that will serve the team for years. And thanks to our existing charter partnership, the Coaster will cover its own operating costs during the week, ensuring sustainability from day one.

Here is what it looks like!

We’re still working toward our $16,000 goal to complete the purchase. Every gift—whether it’s $25 or $1,000—gets us closer to putting the Valley Queens on the road safely and proudly.

Thank you for being part of this journey.
