The Ultra MARA thon is a 50k race in the Maasai Mara Kenya. Started to raise funds to support the local wildlife rangers during Covid lockdown, it has grown to also support Mara Elephant Project, and Africa Mission Services. The race is a unique opportunity to run in the same habitat as Africas ‘Big 5’ and to support some amazing projects.

Now based in California, he has taken on a new role with Adventist Health, where he's working to develop the organization's global missions program. In addition to John's work with Adventist Health, he's involved in numerous other projects around the world, leveraging his expertise and passion to create positive change on a global scale. John's commitment to improving the lives of others has made him a respected and influential figure in the field of international development and humanitarian work.
